Kia ora koutou Ōwhata whānau and community,
As some of you may already know, Jane Oakley-Hudson, a happy and vibrant student in our school, sadly passed away on Saturday 1st August. This is incredibly sad news for his whānau and our community.
Our school will be CLOSED on Wednesday 5th August to allow our staff, students and whānau to attend the tangi (funeral). Jane’s family will confirm the Marae with us and we will update our Facebook, DOJO and text message. Alternatively, you can contact Callie Raureti for information.
Important: For our year 6 students, we will not be attending the open day at Mokoia Intermediate this Wednesday 5th August, however, whānau and students are welcome to attend the open evening on the same date, from 5pm – 7pm. We will make other arrangements for our year 6’s.
